Welcome to Bel Air,
I have taught at Bel Air for 7 years now. I started out teaching first grade and did that for 5 years. I taught third grade for 1 year and kindergarten for a few months this year. In December my husband and I welcomed our first child, Nathan Brian into the world. Life has been very exciting since! I returned to work at Bel Air as the new Reading Specialist in mid January. I work primarily with grades three through five but do all I can to enhance literacy throughout our school.
My husband, Mr. Haberkost, is studying to be a school counselor at George Mason University.
I am so happy here at Bel Air and am lucky to have supportive teachers, administration and parents like you! It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be a teacher. There are long hours at school and heavy bags of work at night; but we all know that it is the kids who make it all worthwhile!
